The eagerly awaited Batman Arkham City game has been confirmed that it will be released on the 18th October 2011 in the US and the 21st of October 2011 in the UK!
If the first game is anything to go by then we are in for a real treat with this game and I’m sure that this is going to be a very popular addition to the Batman series!

Batman Arkham City is due to launch in the Autumn of 2011 on the Xbox 360, PC and PS3. From the rumours that we’re seeing, this game will not fail to impress you with the storyline and characters.

In this post we take an in-depth look into the relationship between Batman and Catwoman in the new Batman Arkham City game expected out in November 2011.
Batman is a character based and defined by many relationships but it tends to be the weird and strange relationships that turn out to be the most interesting in the story. When you see Batman beating up criminals we tend to forget that there is a real person under that bat mask who is vulnerable, fearful and feels pain just like any other person.
“The amazing concept of batman means that he has deep and interesting relationships with every other character in the game,” said Sefton Hill. Sefton Hill is the director of Batman Arkham City and has made sure that he fully understand Batman’s mind by really getting in his head.
One of the most interesting relationships that Batman has is that of his love interest Catwoman. Catwoman isn’t the most sincere character in the batman series, in fact she can be deceptive and manipulative but Batman doesn’t want to give up on Catwoman and is convinced that he can change the way of the wayward feline. “Batman looks for the best in people, including Catwoman,” says Sefton Hill. “He would like her to be good but at the same time he knows that there is a dark side to her.”
At the beginning of Batman Arkham City, Batman goes in to Arkham City to save Catwoman’s execution that Two-Hand’s is trying to carry out but not everything it always the way it looks with Catwoman.
Catwoman can make Batman act like a childish schoolboy in love who can forgive her for anything. This is what makes Batman real as although we all know what he is doing is wrong, we can all relate to being in love and doing strange things that we wouldn’t usually do.
Next we see Hugo Strange the villain of Batman Arkham City. He is the mayor of Arkham City and he has a hand in everything that is going on in the game.
“Hugo Strange’s relationship with Batman is a weird one and one that thought we could explore a lot,” said Sefton Hill. Hugo Strange is one of the very few people that knows who Batman is; he has known this since being Bruce Wayne’s psychiatrist.
Batman Arkham City is going to be one of the most popular games of 2011 and due to be launched on the Xbox 360, PS3 & PC in the Autumn of 2011 (November).
It is likely to be on many gamers Christmas list for 2011 so definitely worth making sure you get it ordered in plenty of time.

The upcoming Batman Arkham City is due to be released in November 2011 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 (PS3) and PC and there has been a lot of speculation on which characters will be included in the game.
So far the characters that have been confirmed are Batman (obviously), Catwoman, The Riddler, The Joker, Mr Freeze & Talia al Ghul.
There is a lot of speculation over other characters with unconfirmed reports that Hugo Strange, Victor Zsasz, Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Black Mask and Calendar Man will all have a role in the new game.
